Hello!  I'm Anna.

I'm a creative at heart with a passion for art and design.  Nothing makes me happier than diving into a new project and turning a creative vision into a reality.

As a high school student in 2016, I wrote and self-published my own sci-fi trilogy.

I did all of the graphic design and marketing myself- I designed my own book covers, promotional materials, and website, and managed my own social media pages.

This was the beginning of my love for graphic design and social media, and it really opened my eyes to the important role that design and visual branding play in marketing and business.

After high school, I earned my Associate's degree in Art, and then transferred to Appalachian State University, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Communication.

During my time at Appalachian State, I took classes in graphic design, marketing, media publishing, advertising, and social media strategy, learning useful skills that helped me to utilize my creativity and passion.  I was given two internship opportunities which gave me valuable experience in the fields of advertising, content creation, and social media management.

College is also when I started work as a freelance social media manager and designer, working 5-10 hours a week and learning the ins and outs of work as a freelancer.

I love creating, and am also the owner of my own small art shop, AE Studios.  AE Studios is an online shop where I sell art prints, hand painted journals, embroidered canvases, and hand painted tote bags, and other products I design using my own artwork.  Launching and running this business has given me some of the most valuable experience in social media, graphic design, and brand development/management.

When I'm not designing or creating, you can find me enjoying a good book, taking a walk outside, cooking up a new recipe, or designing a vision board (and currently, planning my wedding!).

I'm a lover of coffee and pizza, a collector of journals and pandas (stuffed ones, that is), and a big believer that there is joy to be found in the smallest, seemingly mundane moments.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my site.  Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about my work.  I look forward to hearing from you!
